Kiss the Ground Documentary Screening & Conversation

Kiss the Ground Documentary Screening & Conversation

People are calling KISS THE GROUND “The Most Important Film You’ll Ever Watch,” and Roots on the Rise is proud to host a screening for a small group of Shearwater residents on April 24th. Capacity is limited to 10 people, so secure your ticket early for this FREE event.

Our growing nature-lovers club invites you to learn about regenerative agriculture and how we can integrate these biodiversity techniques into local farms, backyards, community gardens, and beyond. Bring a bagged lunch and connect with neighbors while discussing this inspiring movie!

  • When? Wednesday, April 24th, 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM

  • Where? Shearwater Community in St. Augustine, Florida (Please meet in the conference room at The Kayak Club.)

  • Why? Roots on the Rise supports nature & conservation education for all ages and backgrounds, and we’re excited to share the KISS THE GROUND movie and its corresponding educational resources!

Quotes about KISS THE GROUND

“It's not about religion or politics; it's about love ― and if you love something or somebody, you want to understand them, take care of them, protect them, and keep them safe. That's what we're all here to do." - Maria Rodale

"Human beings emerged in paradise. If we restore all of the degraded land on the Earth, we can return to paradise. So, let's restore a little bit of paradise every day. It's not that difficult. If we stop distracting ourselves with shiny objects and we start to think about what's really important to us. To see biodiversity return to a place that was completely devastated. This is where everyone can find tremendous satisfaction and the meaning of our lives." - John Liu
